/I took a short trip form Summersville,West Virginia the other day.It was a beautiful day and I want to go take a few photos.I headed over to the small town of Richwood and headed up towards the Scenic Highway.I will have to go back this fall for more photos and maybe a trip to Dolly Sods as well.Hills Creek falls is only about an hour and a half from Summersville.Once you are past Richwood ,it is just a scenic drive.I slowed down and just took it all in.
I bought a Nikon d40 a few months ago and I just love it.All of the photos that are posted on this site.I have taken with it.The D40 is by far the best camera for the dollar. Easy to use,tons of features and if I can take photos like these anyone can.On the water fall images I slowed down the shutter speed to give it ice or fog effect.It gives the indication of motion or speed to the shot.I think they turned out pretty darn good.
