/If you are thinking of renting a cabin near Summersville or Summersville Lake. There are a few things you should consider. I have seen several cabins that are for rent that’s not really the ideal for a weekend get away. I mean it looks like a cabin, but it sits right next to the main road .That’s not my image of a quite and private wooded lot. If you do decide to rent a West Virginia cabin ask for pictures [a lot of them]. Ask how long have they been in business and do they have a website,most of them do.
There are several cabins to rent. I have rented and have spent the night at only two. Both were excellent. My favorite Babcock state Park. Rustic real log cabin, next to a mountain stream .Next, My family had a family reunion at Mountain Lake Campground. The staff was great and the grounds where clean and neat . The Cabins where well stocked and clean.
